The Role

The Visionary provides overall direction and big-picture thinking. They own the vision, the relationships, the culture, and the major ideas. They operate at 30,000 feet. They see around corners. They are energized by possibility and occasionally exhausted by process. They are often the founder.

In EOS® the Visionary is not the manager. They are the dreamer, the driver, and the culture-keeper. Their greatest gift to the organization is clarity of vision. Their greatest challenge is letting someone else execute it.

The Visionary holds 45% equity in FAITHTalk.media L3C. The equity weighting reflects the hours invested in prayer, in thought, in relationships, and in vision-casting that cannot be tracked on a timesheet. The same principle applies to every leader in this organization — equity honors what we cannot measure.
